Roohi's pov:
The morning after the art exhibition was filled with a special kind of warmth, a feeling of happiness that I couldn't quite explain. We had spent the previous night in each other's arms, a peaceful silence wrapping around us like a comforting blanket. The art expo had been such a significant milestone for Vivaan, and I could tell from his expressions, his quiet joy, and the way he kept glancing at me during the event, that he was at peace. I was proud of him - of how far he had come.
"Roohi, you awake?" Vivaan's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. His hand gently brushed against my shoulder as I lay still, savoring the closeness between us.
I turned to face him, a soft smile tugging at my lips. "I am now," I said, my voice light and teasing.
"Good," he replied, his voice still laced with the remnants of sleep, but there was an undeniable warmth to it. "I was thinking... maybe we should explore today. I know it's a bit sudden, but I don't want to waste any more time just sitting in the hotel."
I chuckled softly, nodding in agreement. "That sounds perfect. I'd love to explore with you."
We got ready in no time, the day unfolding with a sense of ease as we ventured outside. The city had a different vibe, one that was so vibrant and alive - streets lined with cafes, artists showcasing their work, and the distant sound of music from a nearby park. The foreign land felt like a dream, and it felt even more beautiful because we were sharing it together.
"So, where to first?" I asked, squeezing Vivaan's hand gently.
He looked down at me, his expression thoughtful as we walked down the cobbled streets. "I don't know. Let's just follow wherever our feet take us," he said with a soft laugh, his voice relaxed.
We wandered through the streets, exploring quaint shops and local markets, tasting different street foods, and laughing at the little things along the way. There was something about being in a new place that made everything feel exciting. We didn’t have to worry about anything but the moment, and I realized how much I treasured this feeling of being so present with him.
At a small café, we stopped to rest and have a cup of coffee. As we sat by the window, watching the world go by, Vivaan turned to me, his eyes soft with affection.
"You know, this city... it feels special, like it’s meant for us to discover together," he said quietly, his fingers gently tracing the rim of his cup.
I smiled, feeling my heart flutter a little at his words. "I agree. It's like we're writing our own story here."
Vivaan's lips curved into a small smile. "I think I could get used to this... traveling, experiencing the world, but more than that, just being with you."
I couldn't help but lean over to kiss him, my heart swelling with love. He always knew how to make me feel so cherished, even in the simplest moments. When we pulled away, I found myself laughing softly. "What did I do to deserve you, Vivaan?"
He gave me a tender look, his eyes full of something deeper than affection, something that felt like it had been building inside him for years. "You made me feel alive again, Roohi. And that's something I'll never be able to put into words."
I was lost for words, my chest tightening with emotion. I wanted to say something, anything, but all I could do was give him another kiss. Our time together felt so effortless and natural, and in moments like these, I knew that our love would only continue to grow.
Vivaan's pov:
The next day felt like a dream. I had never been someone who sought out attention or even wanted to be in the spotlight. But Roohi... she had a way of pulling me into the light, and it felt natural, like it was always meant to be. The art exhibition the day before had been a big step for me, and I was still processing all the emotions that came with it.
As I sat across from Roohi at the café, watching her sip her coffee, I couldn’t help but feel this overwhelming sense of gratitude. She had been by my side through everything. It was more than just the exhibition; it was her presence in my life that had shifted everything for me.
I was still getting used to being in this new phase of life. There was a part of me that still felt like the introverted artist I used to be, hiding in my studio, away from the world. But Roohi had changed that. She made me want to share my art, share my life, with the world. And for the first time in years, I felt like I was truly living.
"Vivaan, you seem lost in thought," Roohi teased, her voice bringing me back to the present.
I smiled, running a hand through my hair. "Just thinking about everything, about how much this trip has meant. You... everything feels different now, in a good way."
Roohi tilted her head, her eyes searching mine. "You mean it? You don't feel overwhelmed?"
I shook my head, feeling a quiet peace settle inside me. "Not at all. It's just... I don’t know how to explain it. For so long, I hid away, unsure of whether I was good enough for the world. But with you... you make me feel like I can take on anything."
Her smile softened, her hand reaching across the table to squeeze mine. "Vivaan, you're more than enough. You're exactly who you're meant to be. And I’m just happy to be here with you, supporting you, admiring you."
I felt my heart swell, and for a moment, all the words I had been holding back threatened to spill out. But instead, I simply nodded, feeling the weight of her words settle deep within me.

The day continued with more exploration, more laughter, and moments that felt too beautiful to be real. We walked through parks, sat by fountains, and just... existed in each other's presence. I loved how everything felt so natural with Roohi. There was no pressure, no rush. We were just two people, sharing a life together, experiencing the world as it came.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow across the city, I took a deep breath, feeling content. "This has been perfect, Roohi."
She leaned into me, resting her head on my shoulder. "It really has. But you know what I think? I think every day we spend together is perfect."
I chuckled softly, kissing the top of her head. "You always know how to make me smile."
"I just speak the truth," she said with a grin. "And you should hear how much you're making me smile right now."
I wrapped my arm around her, holding her close as we continued our walk through the city. In this moment, I knew that no matter where life took us, as long as we had each other, we'd always find our way.

The night ended with us walking hand in hand back to our hotel, our hearts light and our souls full. Tomorrow, we would continue our journey in this beautiful foreign land, but for now, I was content. Content in knowing that I had found my place in the world, not just through my art, but through the love and bond I shared with Roohi.
And as we reached our hotel door, I whispered, "Thank you for being my world, Roohi."
She smiled, her eyes reflecting the same depth of emotion I felt. "No, Vivaan. Thank you for making my world beautiful."
