Musafir-e-Ruh ~ Lost and Found in You
The first time Saisha Yadav stepped beyond the threshold of her home, she was already married.
Sheltered all her life, she had never known the joy of late-night conversations, the thrill of chasing dreams, or the simple freedom of choosing for herself. Her world was small, bound by the four walls of her home and the traditions that dictated her existence. Until she was given to a man who had lived a life she could never even imagine.
Pranay Mishra had spent years running - from his past, from the village that never felt like home, and from the memories that tied him to a life he never wanted. He once worked a stable job, one that paid for his survival but never gave him the fulfillment he craved. Years later, he finally decided to follow his passion - photography. Turning it into his profession paid him far better than his previous job ever did, but more than that, it gave him a purpose.
But when he returned to his village for an unwanted marriage, he was met with something that unsettled him more than his own past. Even in this century, women like Saisha were kept behind closed doors - never sent for higher education, never allowed to see the world, their lives dictated by their fathers until they were handed over to their husbands. It frustrated him. It angered him. And yet, as much as he hated it, he couldn’t look away from the girl who had never even been given the chance to dream.
They were supposed to be strangers. Instead, she became his quiet, hesitant curiosity. He became her first glimpse of a world beyond fear.
"Doesn’t all this overwhelm you, Saisha?"
She looked up at him, her eyes reflecting the twinkling city lights.
"No, Pranay ji… for the first time, I feel alive."
Their marriage starts in silence, full of hesitation and unspoken fears. But as Saisha learns to trust the man who shows her the world, and Pranay finds himself falling for the innocence he once thought he could never understand, something shifts.
"You have no right to show me such beautiful things."
"Why?" ,he asked, amused.
"Because if you leave me someday… the world will feel incomplete without you."
With every new experience, every stolen glance, and every touch that lingers too long, love blossoms in the most unexpected places. But when the past comes knocking, when expectations threaten to shackle them once again - will they fight for what they have built?
Or will love remain just another fleeting dream?
✨ A journey of love, discovery, and two souls finding not just each other - but themselves. ✨
